Alright - I know, I know! Shoo!

[ He teases as he waves his hands towards the bathroom so Makoto can get himself cleaned up. He'll use the time while Makoto is away to pick out his own outfit for the evening. He figured something simple and nice would be the way to go. A good pair of black jeans -- or -- ]

Babe~ Casual?

[ He shouts to the bathroom and pulls out both pairs of pants - jeans and slacks - because he has no idea if Makoto will be able to hear him while he bathes. ]

[He laughed as he was shooed away, quickly undressing and getting into the shower to wash the day away. He did manage to hear JJ and took a moment to finishing rinsing off to answer.]

Casual, but like. Nice casual.

[His shower wasn’t too long. He was out within five minutes and exiting the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist so he could go to his side of the little closet to pick out his own clothes. A small towel was scrubbing through his hair.]

Nice casual --

[ He lets out a dramatic hum as he shifts through a few more articles of clothing. He gets out a pair of black jeans - they look sleek, but they aren't too formal. And he matches with a red button up and he'll get a black jacket to wear with the look. He spins, seeing Makoto emerge and toweling off his hair and he approaches, placing a quick kiss on his fiancé's lips before resuming getting changed. ]

I can do nice casual.

[ He starts stripping out of the relaxed clothes he was wearing and getting into what he has. ]

[Makoto laughed a little into the kiss. He finished toweling his hair to a semi-dry state, running his fingers through it and then letting the towel rest over his shoulders while he also looked for suitable clothes.

Dark blue jeans and a black tee underneath a dark green button down. He rolled up the sleeves and reattached his watch on his wrist and made sure his ring was back in place on his finger. This is why he chose a nice place but not too fancy, it was easy to get changed and they were still not quite a wealthy as they had been in Lunatia. But they were making enough with what they had for now.]

Alright, I think I'm set. How about you?

[ He finishes buttoning up his shirt as he watches Makoto. As the other slides that ring back onto his finger, JJ almost sparkles and grins. he reaches to take the other's hand and then smiled easily. ]

I'm ready to go whenever you are.

[ He is excited to see where Makoto is taking him. But he's always excited to spend time with his fiancé when he gets it. The both of them had been working hard and keeping busy so they could get their own place, so it would be a great chance to relax with just him. ]

Okay.

[He gave the dogs one last pat even as JJ held his hand, telling them to be good. He also made sure the Do Not Disturb tab was on the door if only so the staff wouldn't accidentally let them out. One staff member was supposed to drop off something in their room though, and she had already been notified of the dogs and knew how to handle them so he wasn't too worried. The dogs were generally well-behaved anyway.

From here, he led JJ out and towards the place he had in mind. It wasn't anything too fancy but the food selections were good and not too pricey.]

Hope you're hungry, but also save room for a little later, okay?

[ JJ waved to the dogs as they stepped out, and then shifts his attention back to Makoto. He was confident they would be good while they were away. They always were. He leaned in close to Makoto, smiling towards him. ]

I'll leave a little room for later.

[ He could eat an awful lot, though, so he wasn't concerned. And his birthday was special so he'd just have as much as he wants. ]

I look forward to spending some time with you and seeing whatever you have planned.

Good.

[He took JJ's hand and lead him away from the inn towards the restaurant he found. It wasn't super fancy, but certainly a place that you just didn't walk in in casual clothes either. He had taken a moment to check out their menu and figured it would be something JJ liked. This place was also serving some food that seemed to be influenced by the people who arrived here. So, he figured it would be a little reminiscent of home for JJ.

Especially because they served their own version of poutine here.]

It's not a lot and I know we're kind of always together, but I wanted it to be special and normal despite being in a place called Camelot, you know?

[ JJ holds Makoto's hand without even really thinking about the action anymore. It's just so natural and easy to do. He doesn't want to let him go - ever. He followed with the other, allowing Makoto to lead them towards their destination. He has no idea what the other has planned, but he likes it that way.

He likes to be surprised by whatever the other has in mind. ]

Always? ...Yeah.

[ He sounds pleased by that. ]

I guess given that we'll be getting married sometime, we'll have to say 'always and forever'. [ He's sappy, ok. ]

You know, I was wondering.

[Since JJ brought it up, Makoto didn't really want to let the moment slip by. He paused their journey for a second, looking at their joined hands.]

We never really set a date and I know it's because we've been to two worlds now, so it's... a bit of a mystery when or if we'll return home. So... do you think we should start figuring out a date now? I-I'm still okay with waiting, of course!

I just... don't want to make you wait either, if you don't want to.

Yeah - we didn't. I've been thinking about it but didn't know how to bring it up.

[ He's trying very hard to not just say what's on his mind. It's not always successful. He turns towards Makoto, letting go of his hand and wrapping his arms around the other's shoulders and smiling as he speaks. Listen, him thinking about things is a revelation on its own. ]

I'd love to start talking dates. And about spending the rest of my life with you. I don't care where we end up anymore, as long I'm with you.

[He leaned into the touch, reaching up to hold the hand around his shoulder.]

I think I already know that you want to spend the rest of your life with me, JJ. Hehe. But maybe during the warmer months? I don't know if I want a summer wedding specifically, but definitely not winter. What about you?

I don't really care about the season, but springtime sounds nice.

[ He's grown up enough in the past couple years that he mostly just cares that he marries Makoto. He doesn't mind the winter, obviously, but the thought of getting married when there's flowers and grass -- it sounds great. ]

When there's some sunshine out. Then I can tell everyone that I wanted the sun because you're my sunshine.

[ He laughs a little bit. ]
