I think that depends on what your idea of a big romantic gesture is. If you mean something like sticking the ring in a homemade hamburger, I don't want to do that.

We're just us. I don't know if I'd call us simple, but we've always been just us. Maybe that's why nothing's really seemed to fit. I've been watching movies and reading books trying to figure out the right way to propose, but none of those people and their situations fit because they just aren't us.

Yo-chan would be all "garbage man" thinking he's being cute and clever, Rin-chan might literally burst into flames, and Rohan... if any of her brothers were to actually behave and be respectful, Rohan-kun might, but might is like "maybe" and she'd just as soon do without all of that.

It feels like it should be a private moment, anyway. If Lewin agrees, she'll tell her brothers afterward and if he doesn't, then... there's nothing to tell. Besides -- ]

It's a physical representation of the contract between us, so it should be pleasing to us where it can. There are certain meanings people should be able to understand from seeing the ring as well.
